The Food Farmacy was inspired by child
hood memories of
Simon’s
dad in
the pharmacy dispensary making
tonics+potions. Growing up with
food
on the
farm,
cows+chickens, a yearly supply of fruit, vegetables+herbs,
a passion for concocting food
was instilled. Together with
Flip’s
country upbringing and a collective 35
years working in hospitality hotspots, the philosophy was drawn and on
the 15th of December 2005, The
Food Farmacy born.
Flip
and Simon have worked extensively overseas and nationally including
such restaurant as Zukini, O'Connel's, Floretino's, Marchetti's Latin,
Stephanie's, Il Bacaro, Cafe e Cucina and Clairault winery plus many
more and has provided
party, luncheon and private catering for the likes of Kylie Minogue, Lee Freedman,
U2,
Mick Jagger, Cate Blanchet, Nicole Kidman, Heath Ledger, George
Clooney, Princess Margaret, Keanu Reeves and many
more.
